My family stayed the weekend and will absolutely be back. Two adults, two kids under five years old and two dogs. The cabin was simple and perfect for a quick weekend away. We brought our CanAm and took advantage of the trails right down the road. The weather was cold so we did not get to go in the water but it looked perfect for when we plan on coming back in the summer. There was a swing set our kids loved and We also love that we could bring our two dogs. There was plenty of area for them to play around and be dogs outside. We would highly recommend Little island lake resort for a family vacation.
Wonderful hidden gem. Clean comfortable cabin. Lots of fun equipment available to use on the private beach, canoes, fishing equipment, life jackets and much more. Had such a wonderful 4 days we booked for a week already for next year. Definitely recommend.
This little resort was amazing! The owners have truly thought of everything to try and make your stay as great as possible. The home was clean, up to date, and offered everything to enjoy a long stay. The kids toys and activities were amazing as well as plenty of space for our dogs. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to enjoy lake life! We can’t wait to go back.
Great location! Perfect space for us and our dog. We enjoyed the cabin and the sweet little lake. Close to East Tawas and the national forest hiking trails. Will definitely plan on returning.
This place is amazing. It is a great place to create memories with your family and friends. The beach is impeccable, and they have sooo many water "toys" from paddle boards, row boat, kayaks etc that we were never board. The water is sandy and clean in the swimming area. There is obvious pride taken in this resort. The owners were super responsive and only wanted to make our stay the best possible. If you're looking for an up-north feel, without any of the hassle, this is the place for you!
This was our 2nd stay here. We love it. Cabins are nice and clean,(loved the shower upgrade) great view, lots to do with all the boats & toys to use . Friendly helpful owners. Great place to stay.
Great little set up, 3 cabins and a loft! Clean and everything was operational. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The little beach front was actually perfect size. Water toys free to use. Great experience and will be back again.
As soon as I walked into my little cabin I sighed with relief- so clean so cozy so perfect. The view is beautiful. The cabin had everything we would need. Including a record player with, I don’t know how, but everything we wanted to listen to. The best selections! Owners Aimee and Brent are awesome. They help with anything you need. one night it was going to get a little cold so they made sure the pilot light was lit on the furnace and turned it on just in case. My preschooler had a blast. The shallow water was so perfect for him to safely play in- and we loved taking the pedal boat out to the little island. At night we heard loons! It was so beautiful! Lovely spot on a lovely lake. Would go back again and again.
